For a lot of users the brush was the most important tool in GeoControl1. The isolines replace completely the brush.
The isolines are the consequentially enhancements of the brush tools, this means that you can using the isolines like the brush for raise and lower parts of the terrain.
Also you can render, like the brush, strong lines or many smooth lines.
The advantages of the isoline tool:
As distinguished from brush you can change the size, the intensity, the style (absolute, raise, lower) later (absolute, add subtract) . There are attributes of the isoline layers.
-
You can implement a line into multiple levels or delete it (level control element).
-
With the brush the strong lines paint over the small ones and delete them. Not so with the isolines. All line actions are stored and are executed in the right order.
-
The isolines are administered in layers.
-
The isolines are stored in terrain settings.
-
Isolines with two altitude - you can create uniform slopes.
-
Automatically transfer of the terrain height at the start point, the end point or an either points.
The new selection render also possible to separate the height manipulation from the filter changes.
You can control the different filters with the selection and not more with the brush.
Now it is possible to build up the different filters autonomous from the square limit of the brush.
